O God,
Following you is both a joy and a challenge.
Living in ways that reflect your love for the world is meaningful and satisfying.
Living in ways that reflect your love for the world is also challenging and frustrating.
As I see the struggles of people around me,
help me to set aside the urge to judge them and
help me set aside the impulse think I am better than they are.
Remind me that we all face struggles and failures.
Help me to pay attention to ways I can learn and grow.
Remind me that your love and faithfulness enfold everyone.
