O God,
Thank you for the gift of my family.
Thank you for all the ways my family has supported and cared for me.
Thank you for the love and direction they give me.
Thank you for reminders that families of all kinds struggle.
Help me when we face times of challenge and hurt.
Comfort me when those who are closest to me cannot offer what I need.
Guide me to be caring and compassionate with my family members.
Help me remember that we all are changing and growing.
Show me how best to adapt and adjust to the ways we all are changing.
Help us all to love, forgive, and support each other, now and in the years to come.
