O God,
You call me to forgive.
At times when it is easy, I am happy to forgive and move on.
At times when it is complicated and hard, I simply cannot seem to forgive.
You understand that better than anyone else.
You know how I have been hurt and how I struggle.
You see how I have been mistreated.
Help me to see the ones who have wronged me with your insight.
Help me to find compassion for them.
Stay close to me as I deal with how I have been hurt.
Enfold me in your care as I move toward forgiveness.
