Lent 2021 Introduction


We are not just minds and spirits, but also bodies.  Our bodies are gifts from God.  We can connect with God as we move, using our bodies through stretching, dancing, exercising, walking, running, or any movement.

-Begin with a slow, deep breath.  Continue to notice your breath as you move.

-As you move, think about the gift that your body is.  Pay attention to how it feels to move. Consider what it means that God creates bodies.  Thank God for your body and its many parts as you move.

-End with another slow, deep breath.

Afterwards, spend a few minutes writing /blogging about the experience. 

Where did you notice God?  How did intentional movement impact you?  What did you discover?
