Have you ever thought about living and working in another part of the world?
Young Adults in Global Mission is a program of the ELCA (our Lutheran denomination) that places young adults in communities across the globe for a year, supporting them as they serve and live alongside the people of these communities. Through YAGM young adults (19-35) learn what it means to serve in a spirit of accompaniment as they walk alongside global church companions. They become immersed in new communities and form deep relationships. And they confront issues of poverty, racial privilege, gender privilege, economic disparity and globalization, all through the lens of faith.
