On Saturday, October 19th join LSC to help as the PSU Arboretum Pumpkin Festival wraps up! We have several spots still available to help turn off and remove the candles from carved pumpkins! We will gather at Pasquerilla Spiritual Center for a homecooked meal at 7:30 pm or so, then walk over to the Penn State Arboretum at 8:15 pm for our shift with the Pumpkin Festival Extinguishing Squad – Instructions below!

Saturday, October 19th from 8:45 – 9:30pm we are looking for a small group to collect tea lights from Jack O’ Lanterns and collect and extinguish hanging lanterns. Don’t worry — we’ve got super long gloves to keep you from getting gooey!
We will be meeting at the Pumpkin Fest Welcome Tent (see map below) promptly at the start of the shift.
Don’t forget to dress for the weather with layers, as it will be chillier once the sun goes down! Close-toed shoes and water bottle are required.
