Dr. Staples is an Associate Professor of Literacy and Language, African American Studies, and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. She has published a book, “The Revelations of Asher: Towards Supreme Love in Self,” and even presented her acclaimed TEDx talk entitled “How to Die Peacefully.” In this talk, Dr. Staples will talk about how her work and her values & belifs shape and inform each other, and more!
