How does a year of service prepare you for a well-rounded future?
Join Lutheran Volunteer Corps alum and staff member Nathan Detweiler for a conversation on how a faith-based service year prepares you for a well-rounded future.
Nathan will join us for worship on Thursday evening (6 pm in the Worship Hall at Pasquerilla Spiritual Center) and for conversation over dinner afterward.
Nathan grew up in West and Southern Africa and attended St. Olaf College where he studied French, Political Science, and Philosophy.
He is passionate about racial justice and peacebuilding and facilitated anti-racism workshops and dialogue groups while at St. Olaf. After college, he was an LVCer in Washington, DC and worked with ELCA’s Advocacy office in Washington, DC before joining LVC.
