God of Creation,
Your world is abundant and diverse and I am so grateful.
Be with the people whose lives have been overturned by Hurricane Harvey. Protect them and help them to reach safe, dry shelter. Walk with them as they make their way through each challenge that they face. Give them courage and strength and peace.
Help me to see how I can help in the face of this disaster. Help me to begin to understand how complex and unclear the challenges and joys of life can be. Help me to see your love and your peace in this and each day.
