Free Pizza Friday with Muslim Student Association!
Volunteers are needed to help tomorrow!
On the first Friday of the month, Penn State’s Muslim Student Association (MSA) gives away free pizza outside the Forum in a gesture of goodwill and community building. Lutheran Campus Ministry and Lutheran Student Community are among the Christian campus ministries that are now partnering with MSA to support Free Pizza Friday, and to encourage our Muslim sisters and brothers.
Let’s help spread a spirit of community through one thing everyone loves . . . Free Pizza!
Stop by the Forum tomorrow (Friday, February 3rd) at 1:10 pm and you’ll find friendly Muslim students bearing pizza for all! Until the pizza runs out.
Walking with MSA is especially important, in light of current events.
If you are available and want to help, we need one more LSC volunteer to meet in the lobby at Pasquerilla Spiritual Center at about 12:45 pm to help carry pizzas and supplies over, and hand out pizzas. Email me at ara2@psu.edu to let me know you want to help!
Come join in supporting in our community’s religious, ethnic and racial diversity.
Come join in showing that bias against people who are different is simply ignorance.
Come join your classmates and friends in sharing and eating free pizza!

Prayer
God of all people,
Your love is for us all.
Guide your struggling people to see one another as your beloved children.
Heal the divisions that lead to prejudice, fear and hate.
Open our eyes to see you in our neighbor, even the neighbors who seem so very different.
Remind us always that you hold the whole world in your hands.
And bless tomorrow’s pizza.
Those who prepare and deliver it,
Everyone who who shares and eats it.
Amen
