All across the country, people who are part of ELCA congregations will spend Sunday, September 7th helping in their communities! We get to join them here in State College! Gather around 11:30 am at Grace Lutheran Church (205 South Garner Street) for lunch before heading over to work. Or meet the crew over at the parsonage anytime between 1 pm and 3 pm (or longer, depending on the weather and how much we get finished)
LSC is partnering with Grace Lutheran Church on September 7th to serve at the LCM Parsonage on Park Avenue. Together, we’ll work to clear out the weeds, trim hedges, and otherwise manage the plantings at 159 West Park Avenue. Come lend your hands to the project!
All the supplies you need for weeding and trimming will be provided, and plan to wear clothing for working outside in the dirt – We have free t-shirts for students who volunteer!
