Could you use a break from everything now and then?
How would you like a reflective, relaxed worship service that lets you rest and consider just where God is in your week?
How about a meal that feels more like a family gathering than a big, crowded dining hall?
Have we got the gathering for you!
Each Thursday, Lutheran Student Community gathers in the Worship Hall at Pasquerilla Spiritual Center at 5:45 pm for Holden Evening Prayer. This casual service uses prayer, songs, reflection/conversation and communion to bring us connection with God, no matter how overwhelming or irritating the week may have been.
Afterward, dinner is shared in the Garden Room at Pasquerilla Spiritual Center. The food is delicious and reminds you more of home than the dining halls. The crowd is smaller, and you will find you are welcomed just as you are. There is always a vegetarian option available, too! No need to RSVP – just come!
Dinner begins around 6:40 pm as everyone carries food and other supplies to the Garden Room from the kitchen. You are welcome at worship, and feel free to come just for dinner if that is all your schedule allows.
