It is lovely out already, and we have great weather for the hike we planned at 2 pm today!!Just a reminder – meet at Grace Lutheran Church near the entrance with the ramp at 2 pm.
If you are able to drive, please text me at 814.360.0601 so we have an idea how many seats are available.
They are predicting very warm temps today (near 80 degrees), so plan to bring your water bottle.
There are not water or toilet facilities on Mt. Nittany, so plan accordingly!It will be a beautiful day for the climb – and for those of you who haven’t done it before, it is not a gentle walk.
Lots of climbing and rocky trails.
You’ll want actual shoes, even though you are dying to wear your flip flops!See you soon!
Spring is finally here and what better way to celebrate than take an afternoon to climb to the top of Mount Nittany!
Sunday, April 13th we’ll meet at 2pm at the ramp entrance to Grace Lutheran Church and share rides over to the trail head! It is a beautiful, but somewhat challenging hike (lots of rocks, steep hills both up and down) so wear sturdy shoes and bring a water bottle . . . we’ll supply the snacks!
