Election Poll Workers Needed in the HUB on November 6th
Are you interested in being a part of this year’s election process? You have the opportunity to do so by working at the election polls. The Centre County Commissioners are looking for students to help staff the polls in the HUB on election day. If you are interested, you will need to attend a training – but you can get paid!
Below are the times for the poll worker trainings. The trainings last between one hour and 90 minutes.
Tuesday, October 30th: 2pm, 6pm
Wednesday, October 31st: 9am, 2pm, 6pm
Thursday, November 1st: 2pm, 6pm
Friday, November 2nd: 9am, 2pm
All poll worker trainings occur in the Community Room of the Centre County Correctional Facility located at: 700 Rishel Hill Road, Bellefonte, PA 16823. There are two entrances to the correctional facility. One on the left and one on the right. Poll workers will use the entrance on the right. Poll workers will be paid for their work on Election Day. They will fill out a form when they arrive and leave on Election Day to document their time there. Poll workers also have the option of voting absentee due to their commitment to work on Election Day.
If you are interested in participating, please contact Michael Pipe, Centre County Commissioner at mpipe@co.centre.pa.us.
