O God,
You love and claim us all.
You treasure us and call us blessed, even when things are awful.
When we struggle to find hope.
When we are brokenhearted.
When we are afraid.
When we want live more faithfully.
When we show mercy.
When we live with integrity.
When we work for peace.
When we are treated badly for living the way you teach.
Continue to lift us up in our struggles.
Help me to notice the struggles of others around me.
Remind me that you treasure them and call them blessed, too.
