Compassionate God,
When I want to ignore needs outside my own circle,
open my heart
When I am tempted to let boundaries limit my compassion,
show me how you see the world.
Remind me how your love expands every circle and includes everyone.
Empower me to care deeply and widely.
Guide me to see all my neighbors as you see them.
