God of light,
You are always here, with me.
Your light is all around.
Help me to notice the moments when your light breaks through.
Where people give of themselves.
In the beauty in creation.
When I use my mind and my body well.
As I see compassion shared.
Where welcome is offered and accepted.
In the struggle for justice and peace.
As laughter rings out.
Show me your presence. Help me to see you and the light you bring.
