Change in plans! As of Monday, September 18th, the trip to Philly is changing into a local service opportunity!  On Friday, September 22, we’ll have dinner with the residents of the Hearts for the Homeless long-term shelter in Bellefonte, learn about the issue of housing insecurity in our area, and spend some time helping with needs in their new building!

This past week I went along on my daughter’s middle school drama club field trip to New York to see “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.”  It really was a great show, and the trip was lots of fun.  The group of 8th grade girls I was in charge of were patient and cooperative, quite pleasant to spend the day with.
