Ongoing Events

Worship Services

Sundays and Thursdays | Worship Hall at Pasquerilla & Grace Lutheran Church
Gathering for worship is central to our lives together as Christians in the Lutheran Student Community. Visit our Worship Page for more information on our weekly worship services.

Dinner for Students

Sundays and Thursdays at 7 pm | Grace Lutheran and Pasquerilla Spiritual Center
Students gather for dinner in the Fireside Room at Grace Lutheran Church after evening worship on Sundays, and again for dinner in the Garden Room at Pasquerilla Spiritual Center after evening prayer on Thursdays.

Both are a relaxed time, with lots of home-cooked food, lively conversation and a family-like feel.  There is always something for vegetarians to enjoy, and on Sundays you have a chance to help use the massive dishwasher at the church once dinner is over, or wash up at the Spiritual Center!

Meals may include dishes like veggie lasagna with salad, Chicken Italiano with potatoes, or any number of casseroles with a side of vegetables.  There are always good options for meat-eaters and vegetarians alike.  And there is dessert each week.

Some weeks there will be projects or visitors or special topics.  Check the calendar for details.

Come for the food.  Stay for the community.

Lunch after Morning Worship (Monthly)

Sundays at 11:30 am | Grace Lutheran Church
Once a month after Sunday worship services at Grace Lutheran, you can enjoy a delicious lunch, spend some time getting to know some of the others you worship with: other Penn State students, Grace Lutheran members, pastors from the Grace Lutheran staff, campus minister Alicia Anderson and whomever else happens by!

We’ll gather in the Fireside Room just down the hallway from the sanctuary – not to worry, we know you have to get work done on Sunday afternoon, so you can eat and run!  Lunch begins around 11:30 am (immediately following the 10:30 am worship service) and should be done by 12:15 pm (unless you want to relax and chat after the meal!).  Everyone is welcome!
