Austin Channing Brown – January 30th

Austin Channing Brown will share a public keynote on Wednesday, January 30th at 7 pm in HUB-Robeson’s Freeman Auditorium.  This event is free and open to the public.

Austin Channing Brown is a leading new voice on racial justice, and author of I’m Still Here: Black Dignity in a World Made for Whiteness. Austin is committed to exploring the intersections of racial justice, faith and black womanhood. Her voice is one of a kind, infused with justice, pop culture, humor, and truth-telling.

Our desire to bring Austin’s voice to campus is an effort to highlight racial justice and inclusion in faith spaces through storytelling and conversation. We believe she will provide a broader understanding of inclusion across our disconnected Christian spaces, highlighting our need to engage our intersecting identities and roles.
