Students gather for dinner in the Fireside Room at Grace Lutheran Church after evening worship on Sundays, and again for dinner in the Harshbarger Room at Pasquerilla Spiritual Center after evening prayer on Thursdays.
Both are a relaxed time, with lots of home-cooked food, lively conversation and a family-like feel. There is always something for vegetarians to enjoy, and on Sundays we have an activity or focused conversation along with dinner. Afterward, you have a chance to help use the massive dishwasher at the church once dinner is over, or wash up at the Spiritual Center!
Meals may include dishes like veggie lasagna with salad, Chicken Italiano with potatoes, or any number of casseroles with a side of vegetables. There are always good options for meat-eaters and vegetarians alike. And there is dessert each week.
Some weeks there will be projects or visitors or special topics. Other weeks there won’t. Check the calendar for details.
