As Lent draws to a close, and we move toward the celebration of Easter, there are a number of opportunities to observe the final days of Jesus life and ministry. All are welcome!
Palm/Passion Sunday Worship, March 25 – 8, 9, 10:30 am and 6 pm at Grace Lutheran Church
Palm branch at all services. Children’s procession at 9 & 10:30 am.
Palm Sunday Peace Walk, Sunday, March 25, 3 pm – 4:30 pm beginning at University Baptist and Brethren Church, 411 South Burrowes Street. This mile-long walk will gather the wider community together and at 5 stops we will lift up some ways the State College and Penn State community is working for peace.
Holy Wednesday Musical Presentation, April 28, 5:15-8:15 pm “Father, Son and Holy Spirit: Musical Inspirations from the Creed.” at Grace Lutheran Church
Maundy Thursday Worship, April 29 – Worship at 7:30 pm in Grace Lutheran Church with Holy Communion and the traditional “stripping of the altar.” If you’d like to meet for dinner before worship, gather at Pasquerilla Spiritual Center by 6 pm, or contact Alicia Anderson ara2@psu.edu
