Light to the whole world

After the wonder and the rush of Christmas, we move into the season of Epiphany.  On January 6th, we mark the arrival of the magi from the east, come from distant lands to pay homage to the baby Jesus.  Outsiders who learn from the very stars in the heavens about the birth of the messiah.  Strangers who help us see that God is invested in the whole world.

God’s love and blessings are not reserved for just one group or family or tribe.  God’s love and blessings are showered on the whole human family.  May the stars in the night sky remind you of the star that led the magi to find the baby Jesus.  A star that brings light into the deepest nights of our lives.

God’s light comes for us all.
Peace,
Alicia
