Interfaith Sabbath Worship – Friday, February 24th

Gather with the Jewish and Christian communities here in State College for a worship service that lifts up our shared values and aspirations.

Congregation Brit Shalom will host a traditional Jewish worship service  led by Rabbi David Ostrich and including leaders from various faith traditions.  All are welcome!

The theme of the service will be that God speaks in many voices and to different people differently. This is not to say that every opinion or action is godly, but rather, there is a great diversity in the ways that God is understood and the ways that godly virtues can be pursued. The key in a multicultural, multi-religious, and democratic society is to keep our shared moral values before our eyes and to work together to pursue them.

Friday, February 24th from 7 pm – 8 pm at 620 East Hamilton Avenue, State College, PA 16801
